About
The e⁺e⁻ Alliance tries to systematically collecting and documenting all available LEP samples and analysis artifacts in an easily accessible format for all alliance contributors to accelerate cross-checks, reproducibility, and new studies from recent theoretical development and experimental technique advancement.
The Alliance reanalyzes archived ALEPH and DELPHI LEP data across √s ≈ 91–209 GeV to deliver modern QCD and correlation studies. Published highlights include precision jet-energy spectra and substructure at the Z pole, two-particle correlations at 91 GeV, and evidence of long-range near-side correlations at 183–209 GeV. Ongoing analysis notes extend this program with thrust and energy–energy correlator measurements at 91 GeV and broader two-particle correlation studies using contemporary event-shape and jet-substructure techniques with both archived ALEPH and DELPHI samples. We are also investigating multiple different observables from classics to novel ones to better understand QCD and to inform future experiments from FCC-ee to EIC.
In parallel, we are trying to revive additional datasets from different experiments, as well as unlocking exciting opportunities with existing dataset through a better understanding of the detector and conditions. We hope to preserve expertise and knowledge in these key e+e– datasets, maximizing the scientific impact.
Join us! If you are interested in any measurements that can be done in e+e– collisions, we are more than happy to collaborate!
